These words usually describe actions or communicate a type of expertise. You can use the word themselves or variations of the words.
This brings us to our first word…
Expert
Variations: Expertise, Specialist, Authority
There’s many, many people with experience out there, but less commonly found are experts. You don’t have to be #1 in your industry, but this word does communicate that you’re at the top and act progressively in getting better in your field.
Results-Oriented
Variations: Attained, Accomplished, Earned, Generated, Negotiated, Achieved
You’re not only a goal setter, but you’re a goal achiever! And you even have the data to back up your experience. Employers like that!
Strategic
Variations: Strategical, Strategically, Calculated, Deliberate
This is one of my personal favorites! This word inspires visions of planning and thoughtful forethought. What hiring person isn’t looking for that?
Solution
Variations: Result, Resolutions, Formulate
There are two ways to use this word. Many people use it as fluffy language or filler words to make something sound more involved than it really was. The second way to use it is to back it up with numbers or significant data to demonstrate the point. The second option is the only effective way it should be used.
Improved
Variations: Enhanced, Boosted, Exceeded, Surpassed, Increased or Decreased
This action word shows the reader that you make things happen. The key is to follow it up with something quantifiable.
Keep in mind, there are MANY MORE words out there that will help you so do your research in crafting the language in your profile!
