Our client is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to adults and families impacted by homelessness, poverty, and addictions. They hire people that are skilled and passionate to meet our mission through outcome-based strategies which support personal and community transformation.
The Associate Medical Director of Specialty Mental Health Services (AMD) is responsible for leading all mental health and psychiatric services delivered, in partnership with their operational dyad-partner, the Senior Director and supported by the CMO and our Health Services Executive Leader. Specialty Mental Health Services occur across multiple facilities and clinical care teams within the continuum of care.
The AMD provides leadership and mentoring to the Health Services clinical staff, participates and leads clinical quality and peer review within the Mental Health service-lines and partners with operational and quality team leaders to maintain a posture of continuous quality improvement, patient safety and compliance with clinical best-practices and standards defined by payers and regulatory agencies. The AMD also establishes and promotes the professional, clinical, and ethical values and standards to which all clinical staff are expected to adhere.

In addition, the AMD of Mental Health Services will hold governance representation roles supporting clinical quality, safety, clinical and professional standards and support the privileging and credentialing of clinical staff.
