It’s time to band together and work toward a solution for us all.
“Prior to COVID-19 hitting the US, there was already a mounting problem in the mental and behavioral health industry: the demand for services was continuing to grow while the supply of qualified professionals to serve this need was struggling to keep up. When COVID-19 hit, the problem only grew.
Now with demand at an all-time high and supply continuing to dwindle from the ripple effects of COVID, hiring managers everywhere are struggling to find and keep qualified talent. Many find themselves with empty talent pipelines, positions sitting open for longer than normal periods of time, and rejection, after rejection, after no call/no show, after rejection. You get the idea.
As we speculate about what new challenges may present themselves in the future, we at Empowered Partnerships LLC are specifically focused on creating solutions to address the ever-growing staffing shortage. In addition to providing high-quality staff for our employers, our new initiatives involve growing our partnerships with educational institutions and national advocacy programs, developing heightened awareness around shortage-related issues with regulatory agencies, promoting areas with greater ease of entry into the industry, as well as many other things.
