Our client is currently hiring entry-level ABA Behavior Technicians/Therapists in New Bedford, Massachusetts

These are full-time and part-time opportunities.
ABA Behavior Technicians/Therapists will provide one-on-one in-home ABA treatment services to children ages 0-22, diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or a related developmental disability.
Positions open in Greater Boston, Quincy, Brockton, Revere, Lowell, Worcester, Fitchburg, Springfield, Malden, New Bedford, Framingham, North Shore, South Shore, Metrowest, and Central Massachusetts.
Bilingual or bi-cultural not required, but preferred.
Our client works with several clients providing in-home ABA treatment services with specific requests for ABA Behavior Technicians who are able to speak their native language/primary language spoken within their home fluently.
ABA treatment sessions are typically held between 2:00pm and 8:00pm, Monday through Friday, as well as throughout the day on the weekends. There may also be some daytime ABA treatment sessions available to work during the week.
Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week, as well as must be willing to make a minimum of a six-month commitment to working on each client’s case.
The total number of ABA treatment session hours available on each individual client’s case varies. Clients typically use 10 to 20 direct ABA BT treatment hours per week. It is strongly encouraged that any individual interested in applying to be willing and able to make a minimum of a six-month commitment to working with clients.
ABA Behavior Technicians/Therapists (BTS) will be directly supervised by a Behavior Analyst Clinician and will work as an essential collaborative team member in order to provide our clients with the most optimal level of care.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- High School Diploma, as well as must have completed 60-hours of college coursework from an accredited university and have 6-months of experience providing ABA treatment services.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech and Language Treatment Services, Hearing Services, or another related field of study.
- Experience working with children ages 0-21 providing one-to-one ABA-based treatment services; experience implementing the principles, methods, and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA); and/or Educational, Speech, or Allied Mental Health Treatment Services experience.
The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour (or about $37,000 to $52,000 annually) and is based upon each applicant’s level of experience and education.
$500 Employee Incentive Program – Our client also offers a $500.00 incentive for employees who complete their New Employee Training Plan within the required ninety (90) days and completes six (6) months of employment combined.
