Job Description

Title: Acute RN/Registered Nurse – $10K Bonus

Location: Canon City, CO

Type: FTE

Schedule: Nights, 5pm-5am

Compensation: $56,000 – $72,000 annually

** $2500 bonus available for a one-year commitment for experienced ICU RN **

Our client is a 4-bed medical intensive care unit based in Canyon City, CO. We do occasionally have med/surg overflow patients. Most of our patients are general critical care (resp, sepsis, post-op complications, CHF, some cardiac). We do not have neuro, cardiology, or inpatient trauma. Our department has great teamwork, autonomy, and flexibility with self-scheduling. We are a very friendly and close-knit unit. Team members work well together and genuinely care about each other. We look for candidates that have strong clinical skills, are resourceful, flexible, have good communication, and value teamwork.


  • Current RN license in the state of Colorado or National Compact Licensure
  • Minimum Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • One-year RN ICU experience required
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • ACLS from the AHA required
  • TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year
  • NIHSS required upon hire or within 1 year
