We have a very empowering opportunity for one unique individual with a particular passion for helping others though their addiction recovery!  Our client is an outstanding organization which promotes creative patient care and experiential care for long-term recovery that lasts a lifetime.  We are currently looking for a very unique professional to take the lead role in the development, oversight and implementation of the Outpatient Services functions.

Above all, candidates must provide outstanding client service and care with compassion and discretion. This person should be outgoing, task-oriented, organized and with a creative, independent and entrepreneurial spirit.  This position will act as our Lead Therapist, completing admissions, running groups three (3) nights per week and conducting individual therapy sessions.  In addition, the Outpatient Director will also be responsible for developing the policies and procedures of the program, participate in hiring and staffing, creating/monitoring treatment plan objectives, collaborate with staff in growing daily client base, and complete timely and accurate documentation.

TITLE: Outpatient Director/Lead Therapist

LOCATION: Steamboat Springs, CO (Relocation Assistance Available — Up to $5,000)

COMPENSATION: Our compensation package includes:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • REQUIRED – Master’s Degree in health services field
  • REQUIRED — Currently possesses a minimum of a CAC II or higher in the state of Colorado
  • REQUIRED – LPC, LCSW, LMFT or PSYD in the state of Colorado without restriction (LPCC, LMFT-C, LSW, PSYC, etc. applicable if you are with 60 days of gaining your next step in licensure).
  • At least 2-5years prior experience providing services in a behavioral healthcare setting
  • Valid Colorado License and insurance
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Familiar with the 12 Step Program and the 12 Steps/12Traditions
  • Group facilitation skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of EHR and CRM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides all guidance and direction for Outpatient Program, including developing program activities, provides coaching to Addiction Technicians, growing program size and patient participation.
  • Facilitates group sessions (3 nights/week)
  • Provides support services to individuals in treatment and in residence
  • Coordination of and assistance with activities
  • Create and maintain a safe, comfortable, and person-focused treatment environment
  • Assists addiction tech, clinical and admissions staff as needed
  • Attend all required meetings (Admin and Clinical Supervision)
  • Documentation completed with time frames set by policy
  • Maintains strict confidentiality, HIPAA and 42CFR, part 2 compliance
  • Supervision and management of the therapeutic milieu
  • Ensure satisfaction of those in treatment
  • Provide airport and activity transportation for those in service
  • Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and CARF regulations and standards
  • Ability to participate in all health and wellness activities (hiking, biking, skiing etc.)
  • Carry Out CIWA, COWS and Vitals
  • Monitors/observes Urinalysis (UA) or Breath Alcohol (BA) tests as needed and documents appropriately
  • Monitors medications
  • Identifies emergency signals and situations and reacts appropriately
  • Disposes of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards
  • Practices OSHA safety standards
