Speech-Language Pathology is a quickly growing industry!

New jobs are appearing literally every single day all over the country and projections show that is not going to slow down anytime soon.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that Speech-Language Pathology jobs are projected to grow at a rate of 27% over the next 8 years (through 2028), which is much FASTER than average for all occupations.

This is happening for many different reasons.  First, the awareness of speech, language, and hearing-related issues is quickly growing.  It is estimated by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) that at least 20% of U.S. adults, at some point in their lives, have a significant problem with hearing, balance, taste, smell, voice, speech, or language.  There is also a very large baby-boom population with more recognized health conditions that cause speech or language impairments, like dementia or strokes.

We are seeing job openings grow within schools, ABA companies, outpatient programs, home health agencies, intervention programs, and private practices.

There is also a shortage of Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech Therapists across the country.  The shortage is due at least in part to the limited availability of openings in graduate programs.  However, as demand for these professionals increases and the autism rate grows, it is likely that educational institutions will take note and expand.

For these many reasons, Empowered Partnerships LLC has developed a growing group of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) across the country that are ready to work!

SLPs prefer contract work because it gives them all the benefits of being an internal employee, allows them to try different areas, and often offers them better compensation.

We have specifically designed a model to deliver all this to the SLPs, while also helping employers build their teams without having to take on all the costs.  And even better, this allows employers to try a temp/contractor out before deciding to bring them on as an internal employee.

Think of an in-action extended interview process!

If you are interested in adding some new SLP’s to your team and want to have all the benefits that temps offer, let us know.  We would love to talk to you!
